A small, quaint town of only approximately 18,000 residents, this community sits along both shores of Long Bayou and Lake Seminole, wide protected waterways off of the Gulf of Mexico.

Lake Seminole Park and Boca Ciega Millennium Park are centerpieces for a variety of outdoor activities, with paved trails, picnic tables, grills, kayaking, playground and wildlife viewing.  Boca Ciega is part of the Great Florida Birding Trail, so a camera and pair of binoculars is must when visiting.  The park also has a dog park and a 35-foot observation tower.

A new Seminole City Center has numerous venues for shopping, dining and entertainment.  Be sure not to miss the Rapp Brewing Company, where you can taste and choose from more than 40 craft beers, and take part in the Craft Beer Trail.
